Ok. I think I'll pass on that.

I guess I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get a new case and prepare for water cooling. That new Antec that was reviewed looks cool. I also like the Thermaltake Armour series but everyone here seems to bag on thier liquid cooling systems.

So rather than trying to cheap this out at $200 I guess I should just brace myself for a $1K money pit. :D

To that end I'm gonna start a new thread about this as the GPU Recommendation headline doesn't really apply anymore. I appreciate everyones help and advice. This will be my first h2o cooled system so be gentle.

Ok, my Power Color AX4870 just came in here at the office. I cracked open the box and this thing has two power connectors on the back! Am I supposed to hook both of my PCI-Express power connectors to this thing or what?

What a diffrence a day makes!

Installed the new card last night. Windows swapped the drivers and away we go! I've gone from running Crysis Warhead at 1440x900 w/ mainstream and below settings to Gamer setting with a higher frame rate than I ever had before! Crysis is a whole new game. And Oblivion? It's amazing!

Bring on the Fallout 3!
