Would it be worth it?

Post by GI-JOE »

I work on a laptop at work that has a T7300 core 2 duo and was wondering if it is worth the hassle to fold on it. Its usually on about 8 hours a day, but I could leave it on all night during the week if need be. So what do you guys think? Should I go for it? :?

Sure any work production and points helps both the team and the cause. Anything is better than nothing.

Just be sure to watch the temps, might setup a fan next to one of the intakes...

Keep an eye out on overall system temps as laptops get rather toasty when folding.

Will do, so far only cooking 1 core at 147 degrees farenheit so not bad. 8)

Just curious, what kind of environment is it in? Hope it's rather cool at night. But like the others have said just watch the temps.

A very big (and clean) warehouse that is constantly kept about 66 to 68 degrees I would say.
