E6400 Overclock

I want to overclock my Core 2 Duo E6400 on its stock cooler. i just have 1 problem. my DG965SS motherboard does not support overclocking. Can anyone recommend anything for me to do to overclock my processor without having to get another mobo? (i tried ClockGen, but the moment i push up the clocks my pc dies.)
