Asus Geforce 9600GT ? Good buy ?

Hi,

My old HD2600XT Tornado 512MB has passed away, and I'm going to buy a replacement.

I've considered the Asus Geforce 9600GT 512mb, which is within my budget of 1.000DKK. (~$170) - computer hardware is kinda expensive here

I'm not going for anything top level, just something leveled - maybe a bit above - my old HD2600XT.

Please, give me your thoughts?

I just want a comparison of the HD2600XT to the 9600GT, nothing else I've made up my mind, I think. Just want your thoughts

9600gt will be better than your old card in every way so its a good buy

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it alot.

Don't wanna wait for my card for get its RMA done, so I'll buy an upgrade instead ;) The PC store kinda likes me alot - I just buy new instead of waiting to have stuff back from RMA ;) Going for some rebates, anything else would be unfair :D

Anyways, the HD2600XT performancewise did okay for me, so a better and faster GFX would just be "creme de la creme"
