I guess this really makes a statement to just how many people pirate a game. The team is now on our threat list, pumping out nearly 400k points yesterday and on pace to about the same today.
It looks as though they have lost 986 people (either through Stanford or owners realize something was running on their computer) but 4000+ have recently joined.

No comment about the pirating.....

Check EOC today and it seems that this team will pass us in about 11 months. However, at the rate it's going, I'll say a month is all it takes unless the team gets disbanded soon. I did find 3 what seem to be legit folders, and those are the ones in the top 3.

Teams evidently get free stuff once they reach the top 100 for a decent duration.... or at least that might be what these guys or guy is thinking. At any rate the person would be hard to track down. However if they get an e-mail saying that their team has broke the top 100 and they need an address to send some freebie stuff to well the tard might just take the bait. Once taken boom their team is disbanded and the perp cuffed however I'm not sure that they will be able to message those people that have "zombified" folding clients on their systems. Should the price of stupidity and piracy be the "donation" of their systems power to the folding for a good cause?

So I think he got put optional somewhere and explain, but i think alot of stupid people still go install (like how they install google toolbar). So dunno if it is allowed cause he put words there to let user know what they installing.

Ahh now I understand. Thanks for clearing that up. But FarCry its not the fact that he made it optional, its the fact he did it at all. Its against the F@H URL. You cannot do that. And the team's points should be wiped because of it.

one of my uhh, friends saw this in an extremley popular torrent for a nother game, (like popular as in it had over 5000 leechers, imagine even if only 25% of them installed it, still a hell of a lot of points)

Regardless of who's doing the work, and even if it violates the Stanford EULA, I'm glad that people that are doing the optional install. I really don't think there is a lot that can be done other than to wipe out that team and prevent any new members from joining that team number.
Just remember it's less about the points and more about the work! If you can't tell, I'm in a "glass is half full" kinda mood. Besides, it gives us something to push for to try and stay ahead of!!!

And like Bwall said, its only our competitive side that cares. In a way its better even if it is corny to have to cheat at F@H like I consider that "optional install"
