to give a disk drive a location
Re: to give a disk drive a location
If you are in Windows Vista, try clicking on the start button, then typing "Disk Management" in the search bar. It will show a settings location for disk management. I believe you can do it from there. Sorry, I am not on Vista right now so I can't explain to well, if this helps, awesome, if not, I am sure someone else can give you a better explanation

should i delete the partition?
Re: to give a disk drive a location
If this is a brand new drive and shouldnt have anything on it then yes, delete the partitions and create a new partition that is the whole drive. Use NTFS to format it.
