I dunno about him, but on Saturday my system got hung up on a WU not once, but 3 times.

Also recently my system is acting funny... It's lagging when i scroll up and down web pages and it never used to do that. A QX9650 processor and a GTX 260 core 216 overclocked and I'm laggy as all can be.

I had a similar problem a few days ago but it was only with the CPU folding and then it wouldnt upload the finished WU. My GPU kept folding like crazy though

wow, I must be lucky then. Other than having a machine down for "maintenance" I didn't have any problems with WU's over the weekend. Glad to see you're at least part way back.

Haha yea, I used to get that too remember? Try restarting your computer. Or it might be that you got one of the new WU where they take longer to finish, work your GPU harder, which causes lagging.

P5748 units suck. close to a minute a step slower on each of my rigs and only 31 more points.

Ditto. On my 9600GT, FahMon says my PPD for 5506WU and related, the ones that give 480 points, give me a PPD of around 4000 PPD. The P5748 gives me around 2200PPD. That's almost half of what I usually get, AND it's working the GPU harder. My temps went from a usual 59C to 61C.
