stupid clients...

Post by smack323 »

ok i have no idea what the problem is.. zero points on monday, under 500 tuesday, and zero today so far. I look at the logs for the GPU client and they between 40% and 90% and restart, and now even the basic cpu client says unable to send results.. very frustrating - especially since i have martini161 comming in fast to #15. looking at the numbers it doesnt look like anyone else is having these issues.

I had a bit of a freak out on one of the GPU clients on my dual card system. For some reason, when I remote desktopped into the computer, instead of the 2 normal F@H icons in the systray the first time, there were 8 icons. The next time I looked, there were _37_ icons!!!!! They all seemed to have launched from the GPU1 shortcut that was on the desktop (which is the last one I click when restarting) and somehow magically launched. I'd have thought the cat was dancing on the keyboard, but it's in a storage room the cat wasn't in. I reset everything again, and it's ran normally since last night. The only thing, when I got home tonight, the GPU1 icon was in the recycle bin.

strange...
