Every now and then I stumble onto something while looking for something else. Well in the process of looking for a particular scene from the movie Stand By Me to show a co-worker (that for some reason or another had never seen it ) I found this
Its a version of the song Stand By Me that was done for the documentary, "Playing For Change: Peace Through Music".
Now before I ran across this never heard of the movie, but have now fair bit of time listening to the "related links", but really liked this version of Stand By Me and thought I would share it.
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
-Thomas Jefferson
That's such an excellent version of that song Ben E. King would be proud!
Those people really know how to blend their styles together!
And Grandpa Elliot sure can wail on that harmonica
