2009 Digital Conversion - Are Your GrandParents Ready?

Post by Apoptosis »

I'm sure many of you have a loved one that doesn't have cable TV. My grandma is nearly 90 and never had cable in her life and doesn't want it. So, in 2009 when over the air TV goes digital she will lose her signal. I saw this the other day and it made me think of my grandma.

I always thought that was stupid that if they were not running some form of digital signal what/how/why would make someone think they had internet access?

vid is funny though

This was actually shown during training at Radioshack...I thought it was quite hilarious at the time but now that I've been working for a bit (and selling those damn things like hotcakes) it's actually kinda sad that there are people like this (albeit usually not as hilarious) 8-[

Dad picked up a couple for his camper and the farm. Those still run on over air signals.
