384pt units

Post by skier »

what is with these, i cant tell how fast they actually go(as my rig is 2 hours away), but it must be down to a crawl on my GSO's, as i only am completing one per update  i'm noticing everyone else is also slowing down because of them also

could this be a sign of the apocalypse coming for nvidia folding?

one of my 8800 GTX's is running a P5506, 480 pt WU. 1m 26s per step, 4749ppd.

the other 8800 GTX is running a P5763, 384 pt WU. 1m 07s per step, 4952ppd.

8800GTs are running the 384's at 1m16s, 4350ppd.

9600GSO is running a 384 at 1m 28s, 3756ppd... but that might not be completely accurate as my wife just got off the computer playing a game.

do you have any type of remote login installed? I use LogMeIn Free, works great. If you use Hamachi, you can monitor your clients remotely with FAHMon or FAHSpy just as if it were a local network.

I find on my dual card system, I have to restart the clients more often than on single card systems. I'll either get some major points difference from one client to the next, or the system will lock up one client for some reason.

More or less the same speed as the 480 points one, but they give less PPD. These help bridge the huge gap between ATI and NVIDIA. There's a thread on the forums about these new WU
