ok so I have 1 western digital 250gb hard drive atm, i am planning to add a 1tb regardless so now my questions do you think getting another 250gb and do raid 0 will be a cost effective measure against going with the velociraptor?

OCZ is coming out with 2 new lines of SSD's in the next few weeks - Apex & Vertex. Apex is supposed to be 2 drives in raid 0 with only 1 connector so no work on your end. Supposed to be cheap too.

nice i did not know about the apex coming out. but if i can get a hold on a 30GB vertex before the new years i will get one for my server. just hope they start shipping soon.

so the apex would actually be fast cost effective alternative to the velociraptor any word on the pricing?
