this seems to happen to me whenever i run a game or a program like photoshop. pausing the folding fixes it

Guess I won't need to try the new drivers....

Btw, instead of using VLC, try running it in WMP with the appropriate codecs. I use CCCP and usually play my MKV and RMVB files in Media Player Classic. However, if I play these in WMP and fold at the same time, there seems to be less lag than in Media Player Classic.
