I got an electric tea kettle (yay!) and tickets to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (double yay!). Other than that, the standard assortment of chocolate and toiletries...

I got a couple shirts the kids picked out.

I've been playing with the stuff my kids got, mainly the boys Nerf N-Strike.

This thing is a blast :supz:

I mostly got chocolates (no-one ever knows what to get me).

I did get a USB TV tuner from my aunty though, so should be interesting trying that out.

Woah, it's got a belt and everything! It's great to see Nerf has kept on with making the guns bigger and better than when I was a kid!

We're already trying to figure out how to get two belts together. Each one holds 25 darts.

He has a pile of NERF stuff, we even have Velcro tipped darts that stick to your cloths..... or the cat :snakeman:

Agreed! The last few years it has felt like everyone has tried to top the previous year with spending. The past few months I've really been pushing to keep it simple and for the most part that's what we had. We hosted and spent most of yesterday cooking and just hanging out in the kitchen BS'ing and snacking. It really was a good time. I think I enjoyed watching lil man (who is about 13 months old now) playing with toys and trying to eat everything in sight the most.

got a tritoon 5.1 gaming headset, this thing is awesome, it comes with a little amp that takes optical and digital coax inputs  plus a monty python dark night plush action figure (complete with removable arms and legs!) some shower shock caffeinated soap, and a clocky! (an alarm clock with wheels so you have to chase it to get out of bed) plus money from the rest of the relatives, likley going to a new camera purchase (looking at a cannon digital rebel XS)

PS: this is the first headset ive ever owned where the bass actually had some real kick to it, you can feel the headphones rumbling agaisnt your head (the little mini subs though are a little bit muddy, but its no big deal as this is was really a hint droped by the wife to shut off the speakers late at nigh to stop keeping every one up  )
