I wouldn't take anything that guy said to heart. He seems like someone who is just trying to impress everyone.

Forums are full of people who just want to put people down for asking honest questions... Not LR though of course :)

Well I got the new EXE in place and chugging along over my lunch. This time round I'm running with HT on and dual SMP clients.

I still have this configured to run under the wwbubb069 user, once I get a feel for the numbers I'll change it to my normal folding name.

Do I need to delete the files? or will it overwrite them?

Don't do a thing. I get that all the time. I recommend rebooting your rig every couple of days or so just to keep things right.

ok, one thing I noticed is that it takes for ever to try and upload the work unit before it decides to hold off on uploading and download the next unit...

Bubba, that has nothing to do with you. Just remember that this beta and it does take time to load a new WU. Just remember to set your cores if you are also using a GPU Client. It should take about 15 min. to start a new SMP WU.

one had been setting for over an hour, the other since I posted about the files. Just restarted them, both are humming away again.

Going to see how it does over the weekend, keeps screwing up I'll go back to the 5 single clients, less aggravation.
