I would like to get my hands on a pair of these glasses too.

Would any 3-d glasses work?

I installed all of the drivers for 3d, and it does work, I just don't have the glasses yet to view it. I saw a huge performance decrease too, L4D was almost unplayable on my current settings until I turned AA and AF off completely.

I love how easy the drivers can turn off the 3d effect. The default is ctrl+T and it goes back to normal.

Does the L4D need the red and blue glasses or the blue and orange ones? I know the ones i have are the blue and orange(yellow, whatever), but I think I still have some of the older red and blue ones around also.

Mike

Wifes store doesnt have any glasses left - that is in Shrewsbury, PA.

I'll send someone a few bucks to mail one or two extras to me.

I wish I could afford nVidia's 3D system, but $600 is a little steep in this economy.

There's a mod on the net that does it for you, and all you need are nvidia's steroscopic drivers, and a nvidia card. The glasses can be any colour you want (I think there's options to use the superbowl colours or the traditional 3D spec ones).

That website I posted had registry tweaks to make it red/green, red/blue, or blue/yellow, so use whatever registry will match your glasses.

I struck out at Wal-Mart last night, so I am also looking for some 3-D glasses.

Edit: 10 seconds after posting this a co-worker handed me a pair of the Intel 3-D glasses... Horray!

Still working on getting it to use yellow/blue as the colors instead of red/cyan. I finally found the registry tweak for Vista x64, and you can see it in my personal monolouge here: http://forums.legitreviews.com/about19951.html.

I do not know if it works or is legit - but maybe someone would try for the cost of 2 stamps :)

Mike

http://www.rainbowsymphonystore.com/3dglasses.html - place to buy them, but in quantities of 25 or more.

I have some of the glasses if anyone needs them - I found 2 of the red/blue style (1 is a nice mcdonalds with spk kids 3-d on it  ) and I have 3 of the superbowl ones I can send out. Let me know if you want any.
