AMD Radeon HD 4800 Price Cuts Confirmed

Post by Apoptosis »

There have been a lot of rumors circulating today involving ATI GPU price moves and I just got an e-mail confirming the moves!
I am sending this note to confirm price drops for ATI Radeon HD 4800 class GPUS .

Newegg.com has already started to post updates and are showing following updated price examples from some of our partners.

MSI ATI HD Radeon 4850: $154.99 with a $30 MIR rebate as low as $124.99

PowerColor ATI HD Radeon 4870 512MB: $169.99 and MIR $20 as low as $149

MSI ATI HD Radeon 4870 1GB: $224 with $25 MIR as low as $199

Here are links for Newegg.com for both Radeon 4850 and 4870 gpu products;

4850: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... eo%20Cards

4870: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... eo%20Cards

This price reduction; in addition to our already proven performance and future thinking features makes for an amazing counter against our competition..
