Graphics card switcheroo

Post by martini161 »

In currently have two rigs that i use on a daily basis, and one i have just moved to linux on. now, since its running linux and i wont be gaming on it, it wouldnt make sense to have my good card in there. the machines are both running the same drivers, so i should be able to just shut them both down and switch them right? The cards are an 8800gt and a 9600gt

even though the drivers support the card, your switching models. meaning the drivers will have to be installed for the new card....
