Post by Apoptosis »

Ever since Charter upgraded me to 10MB internet service yesterday my internet and been boggy and slow... I fired up ping plotter and aimed it at Legit Reviews... Ran it for roughly 20 minutes and got this:

Looks like your main problem is with those Quest servers that it is hoping through. Back in the day I had a similar issue with my provider and my clan's gaming server. I spoke with a customer service guy and he told me that they would report the problem to X company and that was all he could do. Try calling your ISP and telling them what is going on. I know this doesn't really answer your question but it's a good place to start.

After a few weeks it eventually ironed itself out.

I'll tell you what the problem is, it's obvious to me anyways...

The same gnome who steals my socks is stealing your packets, that's right...I said it... :drinkers:

Its obvious the problem starts at hop 4. I think it might be a coincidence that it happened, unless they route all thier higher bandwidth customers on a different backbone. Contact your ISP for sure.
