As great of a company Intel is, they have to stop trying to put AMD out of business. First the thing with Global Foundries and the X86 patents, then they sue NVIDIA for X58 infringement, now this.
Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.2Ghz @ 1.16V (CPU-Z + LinX)
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H F14 BIOS
ASUS GTX 460 768MB @ 800/1950
Kingston HyperX DDR3 8GB @ DDR-1333

I'm really sick of how expensive their products are. even this "price drop" still puts too large a profit in their hands if you ask me.
Cyberpower generic case
B450M PRO-VDH MAX
Ryzen 5 3600 w/PBO/OC
CM Hyper 212 EVO push/pull
Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 CL16
MSI RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 3X 8G OC LHR
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB
6GB Seagate HDD
EVGA 650BQ 650W PSU
ASUS VE278 27" monitor, Dell E2216HV (vertical)
Logitech Z533 2.1 Speakers, G935 7.1 or G435 headset
MS LXM-00001 keyboard
Razer Deathadder Elite, XBOX One Lunar Shift controller

I've come a long way from my original Core2Duo E6750 build y'all! :supz:

just remember it takes money to make these processors! Intel is spending $7 billion on new fabs in the coming years and had at one point over 100,000 employees around the world... The amount Intel spends on R&D and to keep the best engineers on payroll is huge... If they don't make a profit they wouldn't be able to do what they do!

Notice Intel doesn't need bailout money and is one of the largest corporations in America... More power to Intel for having done things right and learning that you have to have a profit margin from day one.

I agree with Apop. Seriously though I have no problem paying $250 for a processor, and you can get a pretty nice one from Intel in that price range. Unless you want the latest and greatest pricing right now to build your own computer is crazy cheap for what you are getting. Compaired to a 1 1/2 years ago.
Core i5-6500 - Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR4 2133 - MSI 2080Ti - Antec 750W - Crucial 525GB SSD - Windows 10 64bit - ASUS 32" LED
