Intel Core i7 D0, worth every cent

Post by Bwall »

Got my 920 in from Tank Guys today, had my system up for about 30 minutes now after I fried a hard drive. ](*,)
Decided to see just how far I could go on 1.2v with the ASUS P6T Deluxe, this is on a TRUE heatsink...
I'm typing this post at 4.2 GHz with HyperThreading on, but I'm pretty sure I'm at the edge of this voltage. 4 GHZ runs flawlessly! After running Linpack for about 20 minutes I switched over to OCCT and it blue screened about 15 minutes in. I've now bumped it up to 1.206 and am just going to try small increments until I find stability.

Keep checking back here, I'm taking a break for a few hours to hang out with some friends but will be back to see how far I can go on this new beast from Intel.
