As it seems the manufacturers like to call the same thing different names I'm having an issue with hooking up my Silverstone SG01's front audio cable to my Biostar TA780G M2+ mobo. Below is what I have and some of my guesses.
SG01:
L-RET in series with
L-OUT
R-RET in series with
R-OUT
MIC-IN
MIC-Power
Ground (think I can figure that one!)
780G:
1 = Mic Left In
2 = Ground
3 = Mic Right In
4 = GPIO
5= Right Line In
6 = Jack Sense
7 = Front Sense
8 = Key (Got that too! ;) )
9 = Left Line In
10 = Jack Sense
However to show my ignorance about this stuff had someone tell me "Your case is ac97 standard, and mobo is hd audio standard"
Okay so is there any way to use the front audio or forget it???
