Based on the latest Intel P55 chipset, the new single-chip solution that brings performance tuning and advanced I/O capabilities while enabling a more power efficient platform, the P55H-A motherboard fully supports the upcoming Lynnfield processor delivering incredible speed and efficiency for faster multi-tasking, gaming and multimedia creation performance that takes your PC’s performance to the next level. For users eager for better graphics performance, ECS P55H-A features dual x16 PCIe 2.0 supporting “Auto-Gear Design” that can automatically provide single x16 or dual x8 PCIe bandwidth. Don't care for the 8pin placement, why have a IDE header anymore? I am diggin the extra USB ports and 90* SATA ports, could have been a couple extra of those.

Legacy support!! Lot's of people have IDE optical drives still. Here is a better view of the IDE connector.

I have a closet full of the things, but I have a building full of PCs that use them, can't see spending the coin on a new system and skimping $20 for a drive.

Noticed they moved the front panel audio from under the vid card to the bottom of the board.
