Idle + Win 7 + GPU = Crash?
Idle + Win 7 + GPU = Crash?
anyone use Windows 7 and a GPU client? the Dell keeps crashing(goes to a black screen you have to hard reboot to get rid of) after being idle for ~30min, is there a known fix? i disabled all the powersaving stuff i could find, only one i kept was CPU throttling as it has nothing to do with the GPU, or is that it?

I know that vista and windows 7 have issues with Nvidia drivers when it goes to sleep. Try disabling the sleep setting.

it might have been "Hybrid sleep" being enabled, i have it going again now

well, it doesnt crash when it goes idle anymore 
but it does crash when you try to download something/web browse, so im go to my tried-and-true 181.20 cuda drivers
