What motherboard do you have? The GeForce 9800 GT can do SLI, but your motherboard must have two x6 PCI Express slots. You also didn't mention your PSU... Remember you'll increase the load on the PSU, so make sure it is also good to go.

- CPU Socket Type LGA 775
- Expansion Slots
- PCI Express x16 1
- PCI Express x1 1
- PCI Slots 2

then that'll be a "no you definitely can't" as your motherboard (supposedly) only has one PCIexpress x16 slot, and you would require one slot per card (2)

if you get an SLI-capable motherboard, then you MIGHT be able to, as it would then be dependent on the quality/wattage/amperage on 12v+ of your Power Supply Unit(PSU) that would restrict you

you're going to have to get an nForce 700 series chipset(not sure what number they're on now) motherboard in order to do SLI. and for a power supply..I would say at least 600w with a nice amp rating on the 12v rail to be safe for SLI.. might not even need that much power, but IMO, more is better than not enough
