Find Me At Quakecon 2009 and You Might Find An AMD Phenom II
I'm getting ready to go down to the BYOC and vendor area at Quakecon 2009 and have loaded up with some AMD Phenom II X4 965 processors that I will be giving away to those that have read this and tracked me down. The supply is limited, so it is a first come first served type of deal. The Phenom II X4 965 processor is the flagship desktop quad-core processor from AMD and operates at 3.4GHz. Be sure to check out our review of the processor here!

Even if I was at Quakecon you could walk past me and I would be none the wiser. Unless you had on a bright yellow shirt with flashing lights that said Legit Reviews.

Anyone else notice the strange looking guy who just happened to get in the picture with Honkus? He is really creeping me out.
Re: Find Me At Quakecon 2009 and You Might Find An AMD Phenom II
He's bummed he didn't win a X4 965.
I assumed the guy in the photo was just playing with the DX 11 gear while Nate was waiting his turn.

I had over a dozen people say they read the site and was happy to meet me, but no one else caught the post. At 1am a guy said he was on my site today, but I guess he didn't see the news post. I asked though! I'm flying home with a box of processors and it looks like LR will be having a weekly CPU drawing.

Yes thank you man for the proc!! That was really awesome of AMD to do that for you! I dont see intel doing anything like that!Another reason why I am a die hard AMD fan. They just seem to be fun and true to the customers. I loved it how their booth was right next to intel and were pretty much every half hour to every hour were having give aways and constantly having people yell and scream A M D!!Makes ya wonder what was going through their heads. But really, it was good to finally have met ya and share a couple of drinks with ya. It was a blast!
