Azza Solano 1000 ATX Full Tower PC Case Review

The black AZZA Solano 1000 ATX full tower steel computer case is designed for maximum thermal management with fans installed everywhere to keep your components nice and cool. With a price tag of under $80 after rebate, read on to see if this chassis the right one for your next system build.

The build quality of the case is also very nice; everything is rounded where it needs to be and overall the Solano 1000 is very sturdy. Azza stepped it up a notch over Antec, though, with the larger fans and being overall quieter and cool without having to tweak fan speeds. The improvement to the drive cage design with the padding and ability to use standard hardware is nice too.

I like it, its a nice looking quiet case. I could live with out the LEDs, but that's what the kids these days like. <- that just made me sound real old

Maybe it is part of getting older? When I was 20 I built a PC with cold cathodes and LED fans. Now if the HDD and power LEDs aren't covered up they begin to annoy me.

Is it really noticeably more quiet than a 900? That would be some achievement with an extra side fan and bigger front fans...

Bigger fans, more fins, lower RPM.

With them running at 100% I would say that they are the same noise level as the Antec 120mm Tri-Cools on low, a Tri-Cool on high can get loud to some people.

Tri-cools are definitely loud on HI
I have a 900 which set on low is very quiet.
The Blue LED's dont bother me but, I dont sleep in the same room and they definitely light things up!
