Industry Leaders from EA, Activision, THQ, and Ubisoft gather for Northeast event
Philadelphia, PA---Tuesday, August 25, 2009---The GameX Industry Summit today announced its final line-up of confirmed game conference sessions and speakers. Co-located with GameX (Games & Media Expo) on October 24-25, 2009, GameX Industry Summit is an inaugural game development conference presented by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) chapters in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
GameX Industry Summit, a 2-day conference with game development-focused lectures, panels, roundtables and keynotes from games industry leaders developed exclusively for game industry professionals an affordable cost, has gathered an impressive line-up of more than 40 speakers, with a heavy concentration of game professionals from the East Coast, as well as speakers from around the U.S. and Canada.
Keynote speakers include Chris Foster, Design Director for Harmonix Music Systems; Clint Hocking, Creative Director for Ubisoft Montreal; Jason Della Rocca, President of Perimeter Partners; and Richard Rouse, Lead Single Player Designer for Kaos Studios/THQ. Additional conference speakers represent well-known game companies such as CCP, Vicarious Visions, Firaxis Games, Freeverse, 38 Studios, Large Animal Games and numerous other studios.
