AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 Review - Hot Hardware

Post by gibbersome »

Awesome review of the HD5870 over at Hot Hardware.

First good review of the card I've seen thus far:

To summarize: HD5870 is the best performing single GPU solution on the market. With new features (Eyefinity, better audio support, DirectX 11 support), better power consumption and a decent starting price at $380, HD 5870 is an "unequivocal success".

I'd have to be bias and say that LR's review is the best. They always stick to the facts and bring you REAL results. Easy to read graphs are a nice perk too! I hate sites that do the maximum playable settings only. They should include the apples to apples reviews, not apples to peaches. This is why I always come back to LR.

The Hot Hardware came out first so I posted it for everyone's benefit.

But you're right, Legit's review includes the Crossfire benchmarks and goes more in depth with some of the features. Both are great reviews! :)
