Hi everyone I am new here but am a very big fan of gaming pc's. I am only into Intel right now though i might give AMD a try tomorrow (just kidding, maybe in the future:P).

Pretty much came here to sight see any good pc hardware reviews, FPS charts on various GPU cards...no really I am here to enter the pc giveaway contest as most people are probably doing.

My first mistake was buying a mainstream pc instead of going for a really good gaming one you know the ones with the clear windows on the side of the case and the neon lights show when you turn on the computer.

I run an HP, but in terms of video cards i dont really overclock as much. tried it a couple times with EVGA Precision tool jus to experiment and thats it.

Well it was nice greeting all of you and i hope to post some more entries in the near future, thanks.

Welcome to the forum. We understand you're here for the contest but we really hope ya stick around, learn a few things, and maybe decide to one day build your own gaming rig. There's a ton of 1st hand experience here with building modded PC's.

Just search through the "Post Your Rig" thread and you'll see some of the stuff people on here have built.

Welcome! the point of the contest is to bring new people in so it great that you came for the contest. just stick around and you will most def. learn lots as i have. this place is a great resource for just about any question, computer specific or not!

thanks you guys. i am actually pretty surprised i mean i did not know there were other sites out there holding the same contest to give away a free Lynnfield Intel core computer. The last one I entered was at Techgage.com but unfortunately I did not win. On another note, I hope I do get to stick around and learn a few things about building computers. I pretty much know all the general parts to it (Cpu processors, hard drives rams, gpu, MoBo, etc.). I can install a PSU and a video card just fine but on Motherboards and CPU processors I am such a noob

Well don't feel like a noob, we all start somewhere. I owe LR forums my current job as a computer technician. I was planning on ordering a pc from Ibuypower a few years ago, found the forums and posted asking for help with specs and everyone was like "BUILD YOUR OWN!!!"

So yeah thats pretty much how it started lol
