IBM THINKPAD T40

Hi
I have recently got this laptop which has disabled graphic card driver so when I'm booting to OS there is no respond from graphic (black screen).I have booted by erd commander but I can't find which driver is responsible for this

Did you check "Device Manager" to see what hardware is not installed?

From your own admission, I would safely assume its the video card driver. Have you tried to reinstall the video card driver? Even if you have to install it in safe mode.

By the way, what is the make and model of the laptop?

Note: Be advised that some people will uninstall a device that is bad. The laptop may have a faulty video card or video memory.

T40 likely has a Radeon 7500 graphics chip. Driver is on Lenovo's website.

go to the website and get the driver and try a safe mode or vga mode reinstall
