ZOTAC Launches New Mainstream GeForce GT 240 Series

Starting with a new high-performance NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 240 graphics processor with 96 CUDA™ processors, ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series graphics cards pack a ton of performance under the heatsink for blazing-fast performance and beautiful visuals with immersive stereoscopic 3D in the latest DirectX® 10.1, OpenGL 3.2 and NVIDIA® PhysX®-enabled games and applications.

A new 40nm manufacturing process enables the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series to deliver top-notch performance while using minimal amounts of power and generating little heat for a superior performance-per-watt graphics experience. Less power consumption and heat output enables the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series graphics cards to big performance into a single-slot graphics card with a low-noise fan for compatibility with systems and cases of all sizes without external power need.

New HDMI 1.3a with xvYCC and Deep Color technology transforms the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series into the ideal home theater PC graphics card with rich colors, unprecedented details and vivid visuals. NVIDIA® PureVideo™ HD technology transfers Blu-ray high-definition VC-1 and H.264 video decoding to the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series graphics processor to free up the system processor for more mundane tasks.
Digital 8-channel uncompressed PCM audio output provides the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series graphics cards with superior audio capabilities for greater enjoyment of Blu-ray high-definition movies. With the proper playback software, the ZOTAC GeForce® GT 240 series graphics cards are able to output Dolby® Digital TrueHD and DTS-HD® Master Audio sound tracks from Blu-ray movies for the ultimate home theater experience.
