I have searched the forum for some potentail hel but have not found anything that applies yet, perhaps you can assist. I have the Intel board with both SATA controllers on it. Both are functional, and both show up in the device manager properly. On the Intel Controller, I am running to Raid 1 sets, a pair of 250G drives, and a apir of 1500G drives. So far so good. If I turn on the marvel Controller but have no disks or SATA devices attached, eveything still works well. However, if I connect just a SATA drive to the Marvel, the Intel Controler is not recognized as having anything on it, and I am unable to boot from the first Raid set. I have upgrades all of the drivers, and BIOS to current levels from the Intel website. Don't believe that is an issue. Anyone else had and solved this problem, I would like to attach more devices to the blue ports.
THANKS

Are you setting the boot order to make the mirror boot first?
It can change when you add more devices.

I have gone there, and the Intel raid disks nor volumns are listed, not only that, but the Intel SATA startup routine never runs, it tries to boot before even getting there. So yes, I have tried that, but they are not listed in the options. Good question.
