Post by florila »

What motherboard can i put in the dell dimension E521? I want to Know what other motherboard i could put in the dell dimension e521. I really don't know the size of the motherboard, but i want to upgrade the motherboard that supports the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 cpu that comes with the computer. Please Help?

I'm confused. What exactly do you need help with? something to do with sata drivers, or do you need a new motherboard for some reason? What do you mean you need a motherboard that supports the processor that came with computer. Why on earth would the motherboard that came with your dell not support the processor that came with it.

Probably just any standard ATX motherboard would be fine. Also slightly confused here...

I dunno. Last I looked at a Dell, it was using a BTX layout. But yeah, also confused as to what he's really asking. Any chance of a spam bot? They've become really sophisticated...

Definitely not ATX standard replaceable.

You'll need to get a replacement part through Dell or another reseller. It's going to be anywhere from $250-500 to replace.
