Lololol. I'm pretty sure Darkstar and Dragon are basically carrying the whole team.

I was mostly singling out those two since they are the backbone of a great team, but your point is well made. GREAT JOB team LR. Not that a congrats from me means much since I am the extreme noob to LR folding but I offer it anyway. I am sure that producing 25K or more per day actually requires work unlike my one PC folding while I am away from home and at night while I sleep. I don't have multiple clients running on numerous PCs that require constant checking and I know Darkstar and Dragon do.

Good on you! I still feel my points are a bit low, considering I'm folding on my laptop, desktop AND PS3. I mean my last PS3 WU was 56 Points, and took me a whole day to complete. What. The. Heck.

YES! I haven't been in the folding section for a while, still in great anticipation as to the other chips

I've been folding for 3 years now and i should FINALLY be passing 2M here in a few short weeks! Since I got into computers and heard what other people said about the different forums, I learned that Tom's was the bigger name with lesser vision. And since I started folding I've been waiting to help LR fold past Tom's Hardware! :finga: Been wanting to do that for some time!

I was looking up the list and it looks like at our current PPD we could reach rank 69 this year. We would have to add PPD to overcome anyone above 69th..unless someone lost a lot.

Sucks we went from 900K per day to just 260k a day... we need to get more people active again as we have gone from 65 active folders to just 53.

On the bright side...my output should go up about 7000 PPD next week. It'll help a little.

We are at 76th with 117 million points. 50th place is Team Portugal@home with 194 million. Most of the teams between us and 50th seem to average around 300k PPD with a few hitting 400-500K PPD. All of that to say we would need 500K + PPD for at least one year to reach the 50s in ranking. That is assuming we overtake at a rate of 150K PPD to make up the 77 million points between us and 50th right now. If we could bump to 1 million PPD like we did during the contest that eats up a lot of ground fast. IF sponsors would continue to offer give aways for folding contests just that alone would draw 200k PPD I bet and likely more. Thats a tall order there Darkstar. It would be very hard to accomplish in 2010 but it is possible.

umm...unpredictable the future is.....everchanging it is..yes. I had an upgrade planned but sadly I recieved a happy new year paycut of 12.5% so that will not be happening anytime soon. I am not bitching too loudly thought at least it wasn't a happy new year layoff!!
