GT 240 folding

Post by Wifuzzy »

Installed a GT 240 at work. I picked this card for power supply reasons. Card is running 1650 shaders and stock core clocks getting 4600 PPD on a 353 point unit. I tried to increase the core speed and got a huge drop in PPD. So this card should average 4000 PPD. I will update this once I have it for a while and get a better idea on average PPD.

yeah on my GTX 285 all I raised was the shader clocks... The core and memory doesn't due much and just increase the heat it seems.

a GT 240 gets about a max of steady 4,550 per day i've seen @1585 shaders if you get more than that consistently, consider yourself lucky
