32 bit windows 7 install gets stuck on completing installation. i7 on a Gigabyte P55-Ud4p with a 260GTX and a 500GB Sata. Anyone ever see this?

just says "completing installation" (last item on the install checklist)

That would be after it has copied all the files, so scratched disk is doubtful.
Try with one stick of RAM installed.

ran the memory diagnostic and it was good
doing a reinstall....

It's not that its could be faulty ram, it's that I've seen 32 bit windows installs go wrong with 4GB or more of ram (you didnt mention how much ram is in the system)

W7 always ran fine for me when installing it.
Its even sweeter when installing it from a USB flash drive.
