Hi all,

Since, I cannot edit my post on the page 13, I will post again.

I upgraded some parts last year in the computer so will update here and with pictures as well. I couldn't find my camera so ended up taking pictures from my G1, crappy quality but it works.

My rig is custom build from MDG(BIG MISTAKE :( ).

I have
- D975XBX2 Motherboard
- Intel Quad Core 6700
- AC Freezer 7 PRO cooler (just upgraded because older cooler died)
- 6gigs(4 Gigs of dual Corsair and 2 Gigs of Kingston RAM)
- 150GB WD Raptor HDD 10000RPM
- 500GB WD HDD
- 1TB WD green HDD
- NVIDIA 9800GTX+ OC
- Cheap case $20(Got ripped off:( )
- 650PSU(don't know the company)
- Windows 7 PRO 64-bit (got a free copy from school).

Here's a couple updated pics...

Image

Got a new 9800 GTX+ SC as an RMA from the 8800GTX I used to have.

Image

The entire workspace. The current monitor is the Gateway XHD 3000, it's going to be replaced with the new HP ZR24w (yeah it's a downgrade from a 30" but i'm having a lot of problems with the current one and I don't want to spend a ton of money on one again).

Here is my new rig. I've given up on building my own as I simply do not have the touch as many of you do, not to mention that my wife has demanded that I provide a family computer that works ALL THE TIME and not just some of the time...HA!

specs:
HP Touchsmart 600 Quad Series
Core I7 cpu ([email protected])
6 GB DDR3 PC1066 RAM
750GB HD
NVidia GT230M Video Card
Wireless keyboard & mouse
Builtin wireless card, bluetooth & webcam

Don't ask me, cause I know nothing! I'm lost in this world of technology and am barely holding my head above water. Thank the Good Lord for LR, otherwise I would have drowned years ago.

Naw I've not gotten into the folding scene much.
And now that my 5870s are fetching top dollar bids on eBay, I don't think my measly 9800GT SC could do much

This is still my rig :~P

Here is my DELL INSPIRON 9400 / E1705 I modded after reading up on here.

2 GHZ CORE 2 DUO T7200
2GB RAM
256MB Geforce 7900 GS GO Dual Heatsink (does run a bit hot and overheat maybe add some thermal paste to it) (still have the ATIX1400 to pass on) I forget what RAM specs it has, it was in early 2007 I believe when I ordered and put together this system over the next few months (first half of 2007).
17" screen

Even with my external fan on, and the internal on, and lowest specs, it still has artifacts (in general) and sometimes blue screens on me.... oy.
