WiredAnd then there's the handling. The Sport holds the road like a baby gripping a rattle. It is easy to hustle through corners, and, with a combined 13 settings on the car's adjustable shocks and sway bars, it's easy to tune out the Roadster's tendency toward oversteer. With the upgraded suspension, the ride is firm but not harsh — even on washboard roads. The car is porky at 2,700 pounds (that's what happens when you drop in a 900-pound lithium-ion battery pack), but it's too fast and nimble to be called a pig.

$141,000 Tesla Roadster Review at Wired
The folks over at Wired were fortunate enough to review the highly versatile and revolutionary Tesla Roadster. Weighing in at $141K, the Wired drivers were able to get as much as 236 miles on a single charge or stomp it from 0 to 60 mph in a screaming 3.7 seconds! The Wired guys loved it and rated it a 7 out of 10, so check it out to find out what else they had to say about this electric sports car!

I'm not sure what the car would sound like but I know I'd likely drown out the engine noise with my girly screams of, "HOLY @$&%!"Illuminati wrote:Wonder what this thing sounds like when you punch it!

Unfortunately, that car is just too awesome for me.
Re: $141,000 Tesla Roadster Review at Wired
This is like the only real hybrid car out there...but i am sure competition will make the price lower
Re: $141,000 Tesla Roadster Review at Wired
Hybrid? I don't think this car uses any gasoline at all.

I can't imagine the repair costs on that thing or trying to find a local mechanic! But then again if you can afford it, it won't be a problem.
