SIIG is proud to be one of the first manufacturers to release two new SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs to market: the SuperSpeed USB 4-Port Hub, the SuperSpeed USB 7-Port Hub.
FREMONT, Calif., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- SIIG, the market leader in I/O connectivity products, is proud to be one of the first manufacturers in the industry to release two new SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs: the SuperSpeed USB 4-Port Hub, and the SuperSpeed USB 7-Port Hub.

The new SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs support ultra-fast data transfer rate of up to 5Gb/s, which are up to 10 times faster than prior USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 standards. SIIG's SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs are completely backwards - compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices - and will operate simultaneously with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 devices. SIIG SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs have built-in over-current protection to ensure your connected USB devices are protected from unforeseen power surges. The latest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 enables highest data transfer speeds when connected with bandwidth-hungry devices, including external hard disks, high resolution webcams, video surveillance cameras, digital video cameras, and multi-channel audio.

SIIG's SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs are fully compliant with Universal Serial Bus 3.0 Specification, Revision 1.0 to ensure compatibility with the latest computer systems and a wide variety of USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 devices. The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs support the latest Windows operating systems, carry FCC Class B (DoC) and CE approvals, and are RoHS-compliant. SIIG's SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hubs are backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

Still the price is a little steep for these considering they are just hubs and not external USB 3 controller boards...
