We are the main UK reseller of the Motormouse and while your review of the Motormouse was fair and balanced, we just wanted to clarify one point - our understanding is that the Motormouse carries a 12 month warranty rather than the 180 day warranty you mentioned in the review.

From the thousands of Motormouse we have sold, we have only had a handful of problems with any of them and the Motormouse manufacturer has exchanged them for us without any problem. Some of the units with problems were sold more than 180 days ago and were still exchanged.

Where did you get the information that it is only 180 day warranty ?

In the United Stated the warranty is only 180 days - http://motormouse.us.com/terms.html
In the United Kingdom the warranty is 12 months - http://www.motor-mouse.net/terms.html

I'll make an update to the review to make it more clear!

Actually, I approached Motormouse with this warranty difference and they stated this:
Actually, our web site quotes the warranty as 180 days. It is the U.K. web site that quotes the warranty period as 12 months.

However, we are confident in the product quality and durability to offer the same 12 month warranty here in North America. We will change the web site information to 12 months and include that time frame in all our other materials.
Chalk one up to Legit Reviews looking out for consumers once again!!
