help on motherboard D845GBV
Hi,,,I am Dan. I have never had this happen when building with an used motherboard. I got the MB all setup and plugged in the power cord and the cpu fan starts running but no boot comes up on the monitor. Pulled all the wires to the reset, pwr sw,HDled, etc and again plugged the PC and it starts running again, no boot. Pulled one of two sticks ram and tried it again with the same thing happening. With both sticks ram pulled it does the same thing only with the beep code for can't find the ram. WHY DOES IT TRY TO RUN WITH ALL THE WIRING PULLED,ETC????HELP
Re: help on motherboard D845GBV
do you mean it tries to boot without you actually pressing a start button?
if i pull or add a part to our dell it starts up and scares me (because usually before i get the chance to plug in the appropriate connectors) but i just flick off or unplug the powersupply until im ready to go
