The folding@home performance of the GTS 450 is rather amazing... I switched over to one as I got bored running the GT240 in my Office PC. Now that it's gotten colder I can run F@H without my office getting 85+F during the day. I'm running an overclocked ECS GeForce GTS 450 Black Edition video card that I have manually overclocked faster. I'm using it on my main office PC, which does video & picture editing and is used for most of the day. I also shut down the client for a few minutes here and there when i need to do some tasks on the GPU. Anyway, I hit 14,709 points yesterday. I was amazed by this, cut what amazed me more is that I can't hear the card as the fans are at 30% and the core is a full GPU load and hitting just 37-38C after two days of solid use inside a Corsair 800D PC Case.
Did I mention the card is overclocked? A stock NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 runs at 783MHZ core, 1566MHz shaders, 902MHz memory. I've got mine overclocked to 962MHz core, 1925MHz shaders, 1000MHz memory and to be honest they card might have more as I have pushed it to become unstable yet with F@H.
Just wanted to share with everyone... A GTS 450 has 192 CUDA Cores and when the are overclocked they put down some nice PPD numbers.
