Problems with my RIG start-up!!!

When i RIG starts up i gettting the little tray icon saying that windows has block programs from starting that never failed to start before. the programs are speedfan adn evga precision. i have them allowed in the firewall but they still fail to start-up and i have to manually do it everytime.

Any help to fix this would be great!

Reinstall the applications? Sounds like some app screwed with some registry settings.

you could likely change the registry items yourself but reinstalling is much easier

have already done this and still no luck?

Completely uninstall the applications first. Meaning, uninstall the programs, delete leftover files and if you know how to do it search/delete their registry entries.

or run CCleaner's registry fixer, that should clean up any registry files after you uninstall

Generally after I uninstall an app I run WinUtilites Registry Search and manually delete leftover entries. CCleaner does a decent job of finding errand registry entries but typically they have to be a week old (CCleaner's default setting). If you want the entries gone immediately then you have to hunt them down.

have also done all this and have evga precision, steam and smart ram working without being blocked but speed fan stills seems to get blocked??

i know this doesn't help, but I haven't run speedfan in a couple years, Coretemp ftw ;)
