I'm interested in seeing the USB adapter they got going there. What's on the fan side? Is it a proprietary connector or what? Any close up shots? Thanks LR :D

It's a standard Molex 2 pin connector you often see used on PSU fans. Though it's electrically 5v only (because of the USB nature) so not many fans would actually work while connected to it.gwolfman wrote:I'm interested in seeing the USB adapter they got going there. You also find this connector on graphics cards that do not feature a 4pin PWM Controlled fan(s).
I added a picture of the fan end of the connector.
If you would like anything else, please feel free to ask.

I actually really need something like this and was going to buy one soon. I have a htpc that is hidden in my dresser in my bedroom. Its in a cabinet with a closed door. The compartment is getting to 105 F + since there is no ventilation. So I will be installing one of these to vent hot air out of the dresser.
