Powerline networking

Post by smack323 »

Has anyone used these? I am moving to a new home soon and want to get away from my current wireless setup as it just doesnt cut it for streaming HD content. And I really dont want to start ripping up walls to run cable. has anybody use this type of networking solution?

LINKSYS PLK300 Up to 200Mbps Powerline AV Network Kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833124306

if it can do between 100-200mbps I think it would be perfect for all the home theater devices( ps3, wii, htpc) I want tot get connected.

works really well - except every computer on the same power line (circuit) now gets static thru the speakers? any ideas how to prevent that?
