The post I just made (above) shows the post was made at 10:40 am ... it is currently 11:40am in the central time zone. Now the server is actually in the LA area, which is 2 hours difference... so it is currently 9:40 am in LA. I'll check what the forums setting is set to for time zone offsets.

ok... 2 things... First, I set the default timezone for the forums to be GMT - 6 hours... it was defaulting to just GMT... which is in Europe.

Secondly, click on the profile button above and you can set your own timezone. Continental US timezones are GMT - 5 hours (Eastern Time) to GMT - 8 hours (Pacific Time)... now I could be off one hour here because I'm not sure if daylight savings changes this at all.
