Most flash based memory cards can't hit limits with the USB 2.0 port. So what's the point of this?

Future cards will go beyond 30MB/s and a few cards out there now will go 35MB/s+ on a USB 3.0 connection... super high-end stuff right now, but that is going to change in the months/years to come.

Hope you're right. Sucks when in a pinch you grab a SDHC card to copy some stuff and it takes ages.
