XFX is a relative newcomer when it comes to motherboard production. They have been known for great performing video cards, but can they take that reputation and transfer it to a line of motherboards? XFX has released nForce 500 and 600 Series motherboards, but today Legit Reviews look at two of their motherboards in the 600 series lineup! Will the XFX nForce 680i LT SLI and nForce 650i SLI motherboard stand out from the crowd or blend in?

Nice Review guys.............. I had the 680i LT board for a while and it did clock rather well with my little ole E4300, at least it did before it died. It started have that strange hissing noise that was found in the early 680i boards, my board is now in RMA status and I should have my new board shortly direct from XFX. That's another point with going with XFX, at least for me anyways, their support has been nothing short of great, only thing that would make it better would be cross shipping replacements...........

I'm still using my XFX 680i SLI LT and have had no problems with it in all the time that its been in my NZXT Apollo case. I was wanting to know how to overclock it though as I'm using aN Intel Kentfield Core 2 Quad at the minimum of 2.66 Ghz?

Start cranking up the bus speed in the BIOS and run stability tests as you increase it until you hit a CPU voltage wall and see where it gets you. If you want more you can start adjusting the CPU voltage, but I'd only do that if you have an aftermarket high-performance CPU cooler.
