Full-time student again. Going back to get an associate's degree in process technology. Basically it means being an operator at a chemical plant/refinery. According to one of my teachers there are 600 plants in the greater Houston area. Maybe that means I'll actually get a job. Hopefully down the road my bachelor's degree will help.
Got into computers and have been interested in them since. This is actually unusual since most of my hobbies eventually fall to the wayside. I had a PC for 4-5 years before I really started using it. For whatever reason at the time I wasn't that cool to me. Then I bought Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I got home and installed the game only to find out it ran like crap on my Radeon 7200. That night I went to Circuit City, got a credit card and bought a Geforce 4 Ti 4400. The hobby has since snowballed from there.
Never been married and don't have any kids that I know of. But I guess there could be a possibility I have one running around out there.
Joined LR because I needed help building my first rig. Had much luck and (much help) with that build and Natasha is still using that rig for her work. I joined the LR F@h team and have been on this site ever since.
I will be 50 next year.
My hobbies are: The stock market, photography, hiking and camping, drinking beer, off roading in my truck, not in order.
nice major/stephen. college/school whatever you call it will be hard but worth it so best of luck and vbironchef/victor your hobbies are in that order you just won't admit it

I would say beer drinking is first on my list. I'm getting old so I really don't care what people think anymore.
Things I do not like:
Traffic
facebook
Bad workmanship
Tipping
Things that break and I have to buy it all over again
Programming, I let Natasha do that
back talk/disrespecting people
any type of credit card
lazy people that don't want to look for work and want a hand out instead
valet parking or having to pay for parking
taxes
recycling fees
rap music
cell phones or smart phones especially the fees involved
barking dogs
man, I could go on and on!
Name is Shane and I'm 33, friends call me Bubba. I mainly do cooler articles here at LR, Cases and other stuff here and there.
I'm a fluffy guy, like girls with a balanced front and rear porch (skinny chicks are for wimps), computers, and most anything that goes boom, and RC cars/trucks/heli's
Will never buy an Apple product because I hate iTunes with a passion.
Happily divorced father of two that say with me.
Came to LR because I won a P4 560J 3.6Ghz CPU at a local LAN (back when I gamed all the time) Met Nate at the LAN, then come to the forum to thank the site for the prize. Liked the place and stuck around. Now I write for the site.
Was an mechanical designer/tool designer, no I didn't design wrenches; stamping die's, drill fixtures, molds, stuff that would make the wrenches. Don't have a degree so can't be called an "Engineer" did all the same work, sometimes better than someone with the paper. Have worked in aerospace (McDonald Douglas, Boeing, Lockheed Martin) & automotive (GM), never again, way to unstable. Been at my current employer for little shy of 11 years, first 6 in engineering (production and R&D), then took over the IT department.
